The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's Finn Frigger in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gyál United's goalie prevented a goal. Walmir Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Jorge Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Gyula Grosics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Molau in the 13th minute of play. ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's Jorge Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena from getting a goal against them. Jorge Campos made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Erwin Bienvenu sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute of the match, Konstantinos Kroustallis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jorge Campos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 29th minute, Finn Frigger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gyál United's Konstantinos Kroustallis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Campos. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. Gyula Grosics showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finn Frigger in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Fritz Molau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gyál United's Gyula Grosics was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gyál United's Gyula Grosics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Molau in the 36th minute of play. A hard shot 37 in the game by Walmir Breckenfeld from a close distance when the talented Jorge Campos managed to make a qualified save. ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoltán Varga in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Campos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's Jorge Campos got control of the ball when Konstantinos Kroustallis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ignác Mayer was slow to take the kick. During this time Gyál United's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Horaţiu Petran got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Campos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's Fritz Molau slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gyula Grosics. That made the score 1-1 after 52 minutes of play. ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Gyál United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urs Fabian Stollenwerk took the corner. ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's Fritz Molau was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gyula Grosics in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 63 minutes into the match, ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's Fritz Molau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gyula Grosics narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Varga came free, but Jorge Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match Ignác Mayer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Campos skillfully saved the ball. Gyula Grosics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Molau in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Finn Frigger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyula Grosics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gyula Grosics made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Avellaneda in the 73rd minute. Jorge Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Breckenfeld in the 75th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goal looked a bit too open when Finn Frigger came free, but Gyula Grosics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Finn Frigger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyula Grosics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Gyál United got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Bienvenu. In the 90th minute, Fritz Molau reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gyula Grosics. The goal made the score 1-3. The audience was convinced that Fritz Molau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gyula Grosics was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goal looked a bit too open when Finn Frigger came free, but Gyula Grosics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ÇılgınGençler ☾✯RüyaArena players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
