A nice corner shot did that Borys Ciszewski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gyula Grosics quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 7 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goalkeeper Gyula Grosics had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Chepe. With a little luck, Gyál United's Gyula Grosics got control of the ball when Jacobo Chepe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Velichko Rakadzhiev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Gyula Grosics when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gyula Grosics made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Borys Ciszewski sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Jacobo Chepe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Chepe got free with Gyula Grosics in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gyula Grosics took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velichko Rakadzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Velichko Rakadzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyula Grosics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gyula Grosics made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Velichko Rakadzhiev sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Gyál United's Sulev Aare got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Jacobo Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bestone 716 - Jakarta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Chepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gyula Grosics stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agah Tuğser's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Konstantinos Kroustallis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gyula Grosics made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Jacobo Chepe sent off a good shot on target. Gyula Grosics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Chepe in the 35th minute of play. If Borys Ciszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes of play, Gyál United's Konstantinos Kroustallis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jolan Galindo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bestone 716 - Jakarta's Jolan Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Kroustallis in the 42nd minute of play. With his leg Gyula Grosics managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Bestone 716 - Jakarta's Velichko Rakadzhiev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 46 minutes into the game, Gyál United's Konstantinos Kroustallis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jolan Galindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Gyál United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Chepe in the 56th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Gyula Grosics to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstantinos Kroustallis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jolan Galindo made a huge save. Godfredo Mel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Bestone 716 - Jakarta's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Breckenfeld came free, but Jolan Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Konstantinos Kroustallis could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Jolan Galindo however easily saved by the left post. When Agah Tuğser came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Bestone 716 - Jakarta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agah Tuğser couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Borys Ciszewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gyula Grosics was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Gyál United's Gyula Grosics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 77th minute of play. Konstantinos Kroustallis might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jolan Galindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konstantinos Kroustallis ran back to his position shaking his head. If Godfredo Mel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gyál United's Január Csillag managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Loi in the 90 minute of the game. Konstantinos Kroustallis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jolan Galindo having to interfere. With a little luck, Bestone 716 - Jakarta's Jolan Galindo got control of the ball when Walmir Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gyula Grosics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Chepe in the 96th minute of play. Chants of Gyál United echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Bestone 716 - Jakarta had held the ball for most of the match.
