In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Antonio Vespucio Liberti's zone, Brandon Rick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Panpili came out of the goal and Brandon Rick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Antonio Vespucio Liberti's Tomas Panpili got control of the ball when Gianluca Balla tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Sander Korsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Fafinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Brandon Rick from a close distance when the talented Tomas Panpili managed to make a qualified save. Antonio Vespucio Liberti's players were relieved. Tomas Panpili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gianni Balla in the 42nd minute. Tomas Panpili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianni Balla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinu Bocu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Tomas Panpili made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Gianni Balla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Panpili. Antonio Vespucio Liberti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gianni Balla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hamburg Fighters's Gustaw Fafinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Hamburg Fighters from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Enrique Unai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Antonio Vespucio Liberti booed when Hamburg Fighters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerian Podlich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Vespucio Liberti succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hamburg Fighters had controlled the match.
