Daniel Golob didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Fabian Inautzi took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ermengol Baena to make any attempt to save it. Cordario Bazarra shot the penalty kick right outside the post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Inautzi was the one to do the kick off. Franco Bosch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Arixo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Inautzi in the 56th minute of play forced ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper Ermengol Baena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Franco Bosch notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of MARADONA sublime 1986's Victor Arixo. Victor Arixo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st match minute, MARADONA sublime 1986 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Erasto to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Chap's late challenge caught a ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Chap helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MARADONA sublime 1986 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Eduardo Chap hit a great ball. In the 76th match minute, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordario Bazarra to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goal looked a bit too open when Candido Arnau came free, but Ermengol Baena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Bosch might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Arixo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Bosch ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Arixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Bosch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Chap was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Gombal Avellaneda was substituted for Quirce Lamas. After 86 played minutes MARADONA sublime 1986 got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Chap. In the 88th minute Franco Bosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Arixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored MARADONA sublime 1986's protests and gave Candido Arnau a yellow card for diving instead.
