Florin Răducioiu ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Onhaye getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Wim Van Houdtvinck hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven Snäll to make the kick off.
