Galway Cowboys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hannibal Lecter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Adamnan Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrygo Goes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Franciszek Dresik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adamnan Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Rodrygo Goes made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Galway Cowboys getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Witomir Orszak hit a great ball. After 61 minutes, Sacha Boey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galway Cowboys and the LEGIA Bielany players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match was over LEGIA Bielany could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galway Cowboys throughout the match.
