A nice corner shot did that Fabio Regis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Klement Bialakowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Pico in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klement Bialakowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute Velez sarsfield were awarded a corner. Fabio Regis went to the cornerflag to take it. Velez sarsfield's Cirilo Dimas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Klement Bialakowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vecdet Özgenay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
