Teodosio Sergi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carel Impens in the 15th minute of the match. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ola Berg made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sons of anarchy's Jan-Ove Hjälm got a free kick in the 24th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yens De Neuter made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Sons of anarchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ove Hjälm to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carel Impens got free with Teodosio Sergi in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ola Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Van Meirhaeghe in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Aureliusz Kalinowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Sergi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sons of anarchy's Zygmunt Haszczak got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Teofil Cebula kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Velez Sarsfield's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
