Carlos Campelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Isaac Jonasson made a huge save. After 14 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Frédéric Chopin. Basarab Jupân kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Ove Salkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Camilo Salvidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 21st minute of play forced BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Isaac Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Salvidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ove Salkvist's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaston Firmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Gaston Firmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans-Georg Luabunnum got free with Camilo Salvidor in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BK Gubbhöft eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
