Necip Uysal kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Menchu FC's attentive Caetano Linhares managed to snatch the ball when Necip Uysal made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Salkvist in the 11th minute of the match. Menchu FC's Caetano Linhares quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Necip Uysal, made in the 13th minute of the game. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Isaac Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ove Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Menchu FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BK Gubbhöft:s goal. 29 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Isaac Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson got control of the ball when Gabriele Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. BK Gubbhöft's Ciro Incendio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Frédéric Chopin, made in the 32nd minute of the game. BK Gubbhöft's Isaac Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Gabriele Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriele Batistuta was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Salkvist came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BK Gubbhöft's Bosse Bacon was substituted for Sten Hydén. Menchu FC's Arturo Roderigo was substituted for Peter Söderqwist. When Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 93rd minute, Hans-Georg Luabunnum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Gubbhöft fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The audience was convinced that Hans-Georg Luabunnum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Salvidor was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
