Grimório's Waldemar Pawlik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardi Lind in the 10th minute of play. Tõnis Kaldvee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaido Jaas in the 15th minute of play forced Grimório's goalkeeper Waldemar Pawlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Grimório's goal looked a bit too open when Kaido Jaas came free, but Waldemar Pawlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tõnis Kaldvee got free with Ain Averin in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute FC Dundee were awarded a corner. Arvo Kena went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Dundee's corner Arvo Kena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Waldemar Pawlik quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Dundee's Teet Lasso got a free kick in the 35th minute. Grimório's Waldemar Pawlik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardi Lind in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Grimório's Tõnis Kaldvee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ain Averin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kajar Püss to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alo Ülipikk in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Ain Averin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Pawlik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 황 in the 54th minute of play. Waldemar Pawlik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Luuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute of the match, Arno Luuk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Waldemar Pawlik saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 77 minutes into the match, Grimório's goalkeeper Waldemar Pawlik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arno Luuk. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grimório's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arvo Kena was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Dundee's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Grimório's goalie and right to Ivo Elu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Grimório's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Verner Dalkvist hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Arno Luuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pawlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
