In the 22nd minute of the match, Helari Toots got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lennart Merioja was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Karn Konn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lennart Merioja, 2-0. When Valmar Arulepp fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Duffman Team's protests and gave Valmar Arulepp a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Duffman Team getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Kogimyae JK from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Valmar Arulepp suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. FC Duffman Team made a substitution. Asko Laaniste replaced Valmar Arulepp. The supporters of FC Duffman Team booed when Kogimyae JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henri Villem didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helari Toots got free with Lennart Merioja in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

FC Duffman Team's Asso Heintalu was substituted for Joonas Peelmann. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ervin Ojakallas to strike the kick off in the second half. Lennart Merioja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helari Toots in the 57th minute of the match.
