Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alo Ülipikk in the 8th minute of play forced Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Lennart Merioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Grimório's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Kask came free, but Waldemar Pawlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Merioja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Värnik in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Grimório was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alo Ülipikk to maneuver through the defense. Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alo Ülipikk in the 36th minute of play. Alo Ülipikk might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lennart Merioja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alo Ülipikk ran back to his position shaking his head. Kajar Püss scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Merioja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Alo Ülipikk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grimório's supporters rose to their feet, but Alo Ülipikk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennart Merioja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Grimório were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kajar Püss made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Kogimyae JK's Aare Urm seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aare Urm the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kogimyae JK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aare Urm had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Kajar Püss placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Tõnis Kaldvee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Merioja made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Kajar Püss sent off a good shot on target. Alo Ülipikk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Merioja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Kajar Püss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Merioja. Kogimyae JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kajar Püss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Kogimyae JK from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Grimório's Lennart Merioja threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alo Ülipikk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 75 minutes, Tõnis Kaldvee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grimório and the Kogimyae JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grimório's Joel Lüüs was substituted for Renaud Van de Put. 78 minutes into the game, Tõnis Kaldvee cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lennart Merioja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Sulev Oksmaa in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Grimório's Konrad Värnik. If Alo Ülipikk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Henri Villem fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kogimyae JK's protests and gave Henri Villem a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Kogimyae JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri Villem to maneuver through the defense. Alo Ülipikk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Merioja having to interfere. Grimório's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
