In the 6th minute, Tambet Nugin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Rebel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Heigo Mustkivi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Lass in the 14th minute of play. Janar Averin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gheorghiţă Hagi in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, FC Rebel's Silver Nurk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heigo Mustkivi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Heigo Mustkivi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tambet Nugin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 37th minute Silver Nurk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heigo Mustkivi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Samuel Cordarell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Janar Averin. FC Rebel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Cordarell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Janar Averin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heigo Mustkivi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tambet Nugin in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Tapa Athlétic™ booed when FC Rebel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Nurmik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mugurel Chiriloaie to make the kick off. Heigo Mustkivi came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Rebel's Tambet Nugin. But to his dismay, Tambet Nugin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to FC Rebel getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Silver Nurk hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 69th minute of play forced FC Rebel's goalkeeper Janar Averin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Mugurel Chiriloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janar Averin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalju Palk hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. August Lass was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. FC Rebel's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tapa Athlétic™ made a substitution. Roland Muusik replaced Gheorghiţă Hagi. After having played for 76 minutes, Silver Nurk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Rebel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silver Nurk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silver Nurk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heigo Mustkivi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when August Lass came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, FC Rebel's August Lass made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heigo Mustkivi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Janar Averin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Tapa Athlétic™'s Heigo Mustkivi got control of the ball when Gunnar Alles tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Rebel eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
