A collision led to Kuressaare Korsaarid getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Virgo Emane hit a great ball. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kuressaare Korsaarid's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arvo Kena was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Dundee's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rainer Klaar in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. FC Dundee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaido Jaas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Arno Luuk in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Arno Luuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermanno Fantasia having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Ermanno Fantasia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 76 played minutes FC Dundee got a freekick which was hit by Joosep Hindremäe. Ain Averin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Võsoberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arno Luuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermanno Fantasia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Arno Luuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arno Luuk in the 93rd minute of play forced Kuressaare Korsaarid's goalkeeper Ermanno Fantasia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Kuressaare Korsaarid got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Võsoberg. The FC Dundee supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Dundee would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
