Fc Chelona's Alex Braccia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Müürsepp in the 9th minute of play. Alex Braccia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Reisalu in the 11th minute of play. Robert Müürsepp struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Alex Braccia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Kurevere. After a rather tough play, Fc Chelona's Virgo Vides got a free kick in the 28th minute. With a little luck, JK Kurevere's Virgilio Mateus got control of the ball when Mart Lehismets tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Einar Reisalu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Alex Braccia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half JK Kurevere were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olari Hell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Fc Chelona booed when JK Kurevere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riivo Arro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Einar Reisalu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Braccia was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vello Lass got free with Alex Braccia in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Fc Chelona's Alex Braccia got control of the ball when Mairo Koppelmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Einar Reisalu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Braccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
