Keijo Heiberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ben Kiesel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keijo Heiberg having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Ma Tian made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Vardi JK's Keijo Heiberg got control of the ball when Ma Tian tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Vardi JK's goalkeeper Keijo Heiberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ma Tian. 57 minutes into the match, Enrique Saura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keijo Heiberg. In the 80th minute, Rainer Hansen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The JULM C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when JULM C.F.'s Eero Grönholm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of JULM C.F. booed when Vardi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rainer Hansen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argo Aug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eero Grönholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keijo Heiberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes Vardi JK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tiburcio Lejalde who took care of the corner kick. Keijo Heiberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eero Grönholm in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, Vardi JK's Rainer Hansen got a free kick in the 95th minute. JULM C.F.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
