The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Valga 1860's Rait Aruniit made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sulev Vahing was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pearu Leosk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of FC Kungla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valga 1860:s goal. After 12 minutes of play, Valga 1860's Endel Vanamets made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sulev Vahing was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sulev Vahing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Tamberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Rait Aruniit came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Valga 1860 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rait Aruniit couldn't finish the play. After 18 minutes, Rein Tamberg made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC Kungla's Sulev Vahing tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Kungla's Sulev Vahing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rein Tamberg in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asso Karju in the 22nd minute of play forced Valga 1860's goalkeeper Urmo Tali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Gabriel Koop left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valga 1860 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 26th minute, Hardi Karbo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hardi Karbo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sulev Vahing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, FC Kungla's goal looked a bit too open when Rein Tamberg came free, but Sulev Vahing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes FC Kungla got a freekick which was hit by Jüri Võsoberg. 34 minutes into the match, Gabriel Koop notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of FC Kungla's Sulev Vahing. Sulev Vahing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rait Aruniit took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sulev Vahing. Sulev Vahing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Sulev Vahing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Tamberg in the 40th minute of the match. Sulev Vahing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardi Karbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hardi Karbo was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, FC Kungla's Sulev Vahing got control of the ball when Rait Aruniit tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, FC Kungla's goal looked a bit too open when Hardi Karbo came free, but Sulev Vahing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jüri Võsoberg's late challenge caught a Valga 1860's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jüri Võsoberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, FC Kungla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jüri Võsoberg to maneuver through the defense. Hardi Karbo spun around in front of the goal 59 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Kungla's goal. Jüri Levi kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Sulev Vahing was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriel Koop showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 63 minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, FC Kungla's goalkeeper Sulev Vahing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rein Tamberg. Sulev Vahing made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Alvar Muruaas sent off a good shot on target. In the 70thth minute of the game Hardi Karbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kungla's Sulev Vahing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sulev Vahing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hardi Karbo went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. In the 75th match minute, FC Kungla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jüri Levi to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Hardi Karbo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sulev Vahing was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Sulev Vahing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Tamberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Alvar Muruaas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sulev Vahing. Alvar Muruaas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kungla's goalkeeper Sulev Vahing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vladimir Lenin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Sulev Vahing made a huge save. With a little luck, FC Kungla's Sulev Vahing got control of the ball when Hardi Karbo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valga 1860's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
