FC Kungla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kaunispe Spordiklubi the free kick. The referee gave Kaunispe Spordiklubi a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Päiviö Möksy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Kungla's Sulev Vahing. 0-2. Marek Trepp's late challenge caught a FC Kungla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marek Trepp helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kaunispe Spordiklubi's Marek Trepp got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Rando Rahusoo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the FC Kungla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rando Rahusoo couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Andri Lasn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Kaunispe Spordiklubi were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rando Rahusoo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raivo Veeru in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sulev Vahing saved FC Kungla from getting behind. In the 62nd minute of the match Kaunispe Spordiklubi got a corner. FC Kungla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Päiviö Möksy ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Eino Lutter to score against Sulev Vahing in FC Kungla's goal. 0-4 after 63 minutes. Raivo Veeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Raivo Veeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sulev Vahing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Raivo Veeru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sulev Vahing saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jüri Võsoberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siim Pärtel having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Kungla defense, Raivo Veeru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sulev Vahing. The FC Kungla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sulev Vahing should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Ervin Idu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kaunispe Spordiklubi's Rasmus Kaalep quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 95 minutes into the match, FC Kungla's goal looked a bit too open when Raivo Veeru came free, but Sulev Vahing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
