When Pawel Liman fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Type O Negative's protests and gave Pawel Liman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Type O Negative getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Pawel Liman hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Tõnn Lauter managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tarbja's supporters rose to their feet, but Tõnn Lauter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Luis Chilavert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the game, Silvio Sotelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Tarbja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Type O Negative the free kick. Silvio Sotelo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Type O Negative's José Luis Chilavert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Type O Negative from getting a goal against them. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pawel Liman to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lembit Kukkur in the 50th minute of play forced Type O Negative's goalkeeper José Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Luis Chilavert came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Tarbja's Roland Kuusemetsa. But to his dismay, Roland Kuusemetsa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 58 minutes into the match, FC Tarbja's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Liman came free, but Ferdinand Van Mechelen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Kalju Hermaste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Luis Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Type O Negative's Herbert Isu was substituted for Pawel Liman. FC Tarbja made a substitution. Hando Kaasma replaced Siim Nisu. Type O Negative's Rasmus Kena was substituted for Joel Valvik. Type O Negative's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tauno Suslik in the 79th minute. Type O Negative's Tauno Suslik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferdinand Van Mechelen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kristofer Intel in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ferdinand Van Mechelen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hando Kaasma kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Lembit Kukkur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Luis Chilavert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Tarbja fully deserved thier win.
