The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 12 minutes into the match, Stat Veritas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Elin came free, but Mauricio Erramun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Dantae received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Didier Gobbelijns came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Dantae slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Coviolo's Marcos Elequemedo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Mauricio Erramun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bennvar Elin's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute Andrea Gambini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Coviolo's Didier Gobbelijns got control of the ball when Fernando Dantae tried to sneak it across the goal line. Didier Gobbelijns made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Dantae in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Brunelli in the 27th minute of play forced Stat Veritas FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Andrea Gambini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stat Veritas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kryspin Walaszkiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Coviolo's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Coviolo's Andrea Andreola getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Andrea Andreola made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bennvar Elin immediately put the ball in play. Mauricio Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Gambini in the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrea Gambini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Didier Gobbelijns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepe Argento, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Stat Veritas FC booed when Coviolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Fernando Dantae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stat Veritas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Dantae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didier Gobbelijns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stat Veritas FC's Justo Montrel got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stat Veritas FC's Roger Gili was substituted for Pepe Argento. Stat Veritas FC made a substitution. Stian Hestvik replaced Wincent Lizewski. Coviolo made a substitution. 姚军耀 replaced Andrea Gambini. Roger Gili kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Mauricio Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姚军耀 in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Coviolo's 姚军耀 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Dembowski in the 73rd minute of play forced Coviolo's goalkeeper Didier Gobbelijns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coviolo's Nicolae Dobrin was substituted for Kent Sandström. 姚军耀's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Erramun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Coviolo's 姚军耀 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Erramun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
