Felipe Mexia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Teodoro Maurito made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Felipe Mexia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Maurito was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Felipe Mexia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Maurito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Chesterfield's Teodoro Maurito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Mexia in the 27th minute of play. With his leg Teodoro Maurito managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when ASI NOMAS FC's Felipe Mexia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Felipe Mexia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Valente Queto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASI NOMAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valente Queto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Chesterfield's Carlos Pegacho got a free kick in the 37th minute. When Felipe Mexia came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the ASI NOMAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Mexia couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute Felipe Mexia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Maurito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Alda Malafaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Rava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alda Malafaia's late challenge caught a ASI NOMAS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alda Malafaia helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Chesterfield got a freekick which was hit by Alda Malafaia. 47 minutes into the match, Chesterfield's goalkeeper Teodoro Maurito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Mexia. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when David Cruz made the kick off in the second half. Umea Villaseñor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Teodoro Maurito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chesterfield's goalkeeper Teodoro Maurito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Felipe Mexia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Maurito was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmai Caraballo couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Bueno in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Maurito saved Chesterfield from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, ASI NOMAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Moco came free, but Ciccio Rava reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Carlos Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Maurito was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 83rd minute, Manuel Moco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, İlker Haşmetli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Maurito. Chesterfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İlker Haşmetli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 87th minute, Carlos Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Carlos Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Maurito was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, ASI NOMAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Lentilha came free, but Ciccio Rava reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Carlos Bueno sped through Chesterfield's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodoro Maurito.
