An unexpectedly hard shot by Jelte Bleiswijk in the 4th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Jelte Bleiswijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Franco Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jelte Bleiswijk in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Enrique Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jelte Bleiswijk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franco Moscatelli having to make a save. AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Izel in the 30th minute of play. The La Scaloneta fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jelte Bleiswijk in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Moscatelli saved La Scaloneta from getting behind. AEK S.C were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after La Scaloneta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodrigo Hats took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Rodrigo Hats got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Franco Moscatelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 39th minute Gilberto Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on La Scaloneta's corner Enrique Rozarius fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thanasis Koltsidas quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Izel in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanasis Koltsidas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jelte Bleiswijk during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save AEK S.C from getting a goal against them. Thanasis Koltsidas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Scaloneta's zone, João Francisco de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 85 minutes of play, AEK S.C's Jelte Bleiswijk made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Moscatelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the game, AEK S.C's Nektarios Tsagarakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Moscatelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. AEK S.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
