When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mathias Guerra sped through San Felice a Ema U.L.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Antognoni. Coice de Mula's Gianluigi Orange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Tingelholm in the 21st minute of play. Mathias Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Bruno Antognoni made a huge save. Coice de Mula's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximo Perojo in the 31st minute. After taking down the ball on Coice de Mula's corner Maximo Perojo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bruno Antognoni quite easily take care of the ball. Bruno Antognoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Björn Tingelholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Orange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Björn Tingelholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gianluigi Orange made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Bernardini to make the kick off. Björn Tingelholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gianluigi Orange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Felice a Ema U.L.'s Anfilogino Arpaia was substituted for Claudio Bernardini. Medárd Horváth might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Antognoni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Medárd Horváth ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno Antognoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medárd Horváth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Scarinci in the 75th minute of play forced Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Gianluigi Orange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
