The crowd rose to their feet as Espirillo FC's Aaron Cutberto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oswaldo Ramos. That made the score 3-2 after 42 minutes of play. Jorge Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Modliszewski in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Cutberto was the one to do the kick off.
