Ngethe Mutuku made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Imed Akid sent off a good shot on target. Ngethe Mutuku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tacettin Umay in the 23rd minute of play. Anis Achour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Githongo in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Symba's zone, Samson Kalekye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anis Achour came out of the goal and Samson Kalekye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Githongo during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samson Kalekye made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Amos Chepchumba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Restaurante Salento's supporters rose to their feet, but Amos Chepchumba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anis Achour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Amos Chepchumba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Restaurante Salento booed when Symba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Javier Frost didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duncan Mwangi kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Faouzi Bnouni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Faouzi Bnouni hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ngethe Mutuku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khaled Chérif, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ngethe Mutuku came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Symba's Khaled Chérif. But to his dismay, Khaled Chérif quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Symba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
