Leszek Brak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Catranides in the 15th minute of the match. Fryderyk Jajecznica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Chorche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Alfonso Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Defensores del Ángel Gris booed when Spartans Lodz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Pryputnicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Fryderyk Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andris Kapenieks hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Leszek Brak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Gilabert in the 40th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Gilabert to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Spartans Lodz's Fryderyk Jajecznica ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Uriel Chorche. Uriel Chorche yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Uriel Chorche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Jajecznica in the 54th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Spartans Lodz got a freekick which was hit by Witold Pryputnicki. Fryderyk Jajecznica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mauro Galvão hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Witold Pryputnicki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Chorche. Defensores del Ángel Gris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witold Pryputnicki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Spartans Lodz's Leszek Brak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Gilabert in the 74th minute of play. Fryderyk Jajecznica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Chorche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Bernard Ochabski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Leszek Brak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fryderyk Jajecznica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fryderyk Jajecznica. In the 86th minute Fryderyk Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute Alfonso Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Brak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwan Ostrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Iwan Ostrowski took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Chorche. Uriel Chorche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Defensores del Ángel Gris lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
