An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Carlos Almada in the 10th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Gabino Herzl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save CAN ERZURUM from getting a goal against them. The wind increased when Sven-Olof Vestlund made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Sven-Olof Vestlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Vidanes was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. CAN ERZURUM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Carlos Almada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samet Özsahin in the 82nd minute of play. Ignacio Vidanes made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Birkan Kayra sent off a good shot on target.
