In the 13th minute Zygmunt Jarmulowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Jarmulowicz in the 15th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Dziatkowski was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The Haithabu FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching WZG Sandomierz's performance. The match ended with a win for WZG Sandomierz.
