DENVER™'s Cosme Zaccardi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roch Czeszyk, made in the 11th minute of the game. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Czeszyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seb Hedges scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anastasios Bouroutzikas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anastasios Bouroutzikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. DENVER™'s Renatinho Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, DENVER™'s Mustafa Cumhur Gök got control of the ball when Zdeněk Zápotocký tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a little luck, DENVER™'s Mustafa Cumhur Gök got control of the ball when Walmir Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match DENVER™ got a corner. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mugur Nițisor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mugur Nițisor made a great header on DENVER™'s corner, it was just that SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Anastasios Bouroutzikas managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 39th minute DENVER™ were awarded a corner. Mugur Nițisor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led DENVER™'s Remus Gavruță to fire away a dangerous shot which Anastasios Bouroutzikas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Mugur Nițisor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DENVER™'s Mustafa Cumhur Gök played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Machado in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Nițisor. Renatinho Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Eusebio Paulin in action when he in the 48th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Seb Hedges to strike the kick off in the second half. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Anastasios Bouroutzikas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Seb Hedges took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Anastasios Bouroutzikas to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seb Hedges got free with Anastasios Bouroutzikas in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Machado came free, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Walmir Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmir Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DENVER™ made a substitution. Antonio Cugini replaced Diego Armando Messi. DENVER™ made a substitution. Beto Maranhense replaced Mugur Nițisor. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Edson-Arantes Pelé was substituted for Eusebio Paulin. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Leandro Saldanha was substituted for Alfredinho Machado. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luukas Van de Put hit a great ball.

The DENVER™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DENVER™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
