A. Potrero's goalkeeper Lucio Ur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Goicoechea. Pankracy Glogowski had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Celestino Sidro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of C. A. Potrero booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Erramu to maneuver through the defense. C. A. Potrero's attentive Moises Berdoi managed to snatch the ball when Emil Chwalkiewicz made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. C. A. Potrero's Mustafa Barış Yorangil got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emil Chwalkiewicz made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alfonso Goicoechea. Mustafa Barış Yorangil struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Pankracy Glogowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Potrero. In the 46th minute of the game Hermengildo Erroman made a throw-in which Remigio Erramu played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Barış Yorangil in the 47th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Barış Yorangil to make the kick off.
