Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bolo Bolaño started the match with the kick off. Santo Lorenz charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Lorenz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Santo Lorenz got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Consejo del Mate got a freekick which was hit by Bolo Bolaño. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolo Bolaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olle Snell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteban Iztal hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute of the match Fagildo Pamanes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Branislav Velchevski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Bolo Bolaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fagildo Pamanes took the corner. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 38th minute of the match. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Francis made a kick off. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Francis didn't get a good kick on the ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. André Monclús replaced Elpidio Francis. In the 58th match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Francis to maneuver through the defense. Branislav Velchevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peyo Fonelleda in the 65th minute. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Monclús in the 72nd minute of play. Danilo Gomesano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Branislav Velchevski made a huge save. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 81st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Consejo del Mate's Branislav Velchevski threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bolo Bolaño, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Petrică Măcriș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Gomesano. 89 minutes into the match, André Monclús had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Consejo del Mate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Monclús was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús. But to his dismay, André Monclús quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
