After 9 played minutes Consejo del Mate got a freekick which was hit by Peyo Fonelleda. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Hasselqvist in the 25th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Consejo del Mate's Pontus Nordström threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fagildo Pamanes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Witomir Pisarczyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Hernan Quinton made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santa Margarita's Jose Nuxila. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Freddy Bidun hit a great ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Peruxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witomir Pisarczyk made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Julio Kemen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Consejo del Mate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Kemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Witomir Pisarczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. When Consejo del Mate's Fagildo Pamanes in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Witomir Pisarczyk sped through Consejo del Mate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Mauro Icardi replaced Witomir Pisarczyk. Hugo Orlando Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Icardi's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bolo Bolaño in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pontus Nordström saved Santa Margarita from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugo Orlando Gatti. That made the score 2-4 after 80 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernan Quinton during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Hernan Quinton got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes, Santa Margarita's David Celio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santa Margarita reached it. Hernan Quinton made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Julio Kemen. Mauro Icardi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Icardi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santa Margarita walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
