An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Fredriksson in the 29th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ defense, Linus Fredriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri Félix. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri Félix should have stopped the shot. Marlin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Israel Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Fermin Arixo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amauri Félix having to make a save.
