Alcorcón from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute of the match ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a corner. A.D. Alcorcón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petrică Măcriș ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Everardo Cordarell to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurino Serena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 18 minutes A.D. Alcorcón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Petrică Măcriș who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Petrică Măcriș almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena did a great save. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurino Serena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a corner. A.D. Alcorcón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petrică Măcriș ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mustafa Ali Cansoy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maurino Serena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Branislav Velchevski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manolo Bacete's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 24 minutes, Arcadio Ramiréz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.D. Alcorcón and the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Arcadio Ramiréz hit a great ball. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The throw-in from Arcadio Ramiréz in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Bonifacio Suarez. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Francis got free with Maurino Serena in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elpidio Francis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurino Serena came out and tried to block the shot, but Elpidio Francis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belo Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Bacete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belo Alvarez in the 45th minute of play. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belo Alvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolo Bacete in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branislav Velchevski saved ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting behind. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eriz Acha replaced Natxo Cacheres. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Delmar Mayor. Bonifacio Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurino Serena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurino Serena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Elpidio Francis might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurino Serena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Francis ran back to his position shaking his head. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the A.D. Alcorcón defense, Elpidio Francis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. The A.D. Alcorcón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurino Serena should have stopped the shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. André Monclús replaced Elpidio Francis. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isaac Ortiz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Branislav Velchevski firmly grabbed it by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when André Monclús came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of A.D. Alcorcón for a fine match.
