Alzaga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Francis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alto Moco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Francis's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Murillo in the 38th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Suarez. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Murillo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branislav Velchevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jose Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Alzaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Murillo couldn't finish the play.
