The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Francis got free with Vicente Bartoleme in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Bartoleme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Bartoleme was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Vicente Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Elpidio Francis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Vicente Bartoleme to make any attempt to save it. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Stephen in the 34th minute of play. When Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Igor Stephen in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting a goal against them. Vicente Bartoleme came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús. But to his dismay, André Monclús quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Jobo in the 82nd minute of play. Branislav Velchevski made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Edward Västerberg sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Zacarias Txeru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Branislav Velchevski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. André Monclús received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vicente Bartoleme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Jobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Branislav Velchevski made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Timoteo Firmo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Branislav Velchevski. That made the score 4-1 after 94 minutes of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA could leave the field as winners, despite Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. having more of the ball for most of the match.
