With an all-out effort, Club Atlético Atlanta's Alto Moco threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mugur Chiriac, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Jose Murillo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. After a rather tough play, Alzaga FC's Bernardo Franco got a free kick in the 18th minute. Alzaga FC's Alto Moco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Murillo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute of the match Alzaga FC got a corner. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrián Czornomaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Alzaga FC's Narciso Miro to fire away a dangerous shot which Pankracy Glogowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 33rd minute Jose Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Goicoechea got free with Alto Moco in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Murillo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Pankracy Glogowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alzaga FC. After the first half Alzaga FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 55 minutes, Adrián Czornomaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alzaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrián Czornomaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Alzaga FC's Jose Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Glogowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrián Czornomaz was slow to take the kick. During this time Alzaga FC's players had a chance to rest. Narciso Miro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Alzaga FC's Mané Garrincha was substituted for Fortunato Froněk. Alto Moco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Nestor Tesone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Alfonso Goicoechea made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alto Moco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute Alfonso Goicoechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alto Moco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Tesone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Nevada hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Tesone's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Pankracy Glogowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Tesone went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Tesone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Alzaga FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
