In the 72nd minute, one of Soroca F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Soroca F.C.. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Jerrold in the 90th minute of the match. Adrian Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Necula in the 91st minute of play. The Imperio Académico fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Soroca F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
