The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David de Alcântara made a kick off. If David de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, 26 de junio's David de Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atahan Balon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donato Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! David de Alcântara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Atahan Balon came out and tried to block the shot, but David de Alcântara slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 88th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans cheered their team off the field, for while 26 de junio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
