The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alzaga FC were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Soroca F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nestor Tesone took the corner. The corner led Alzaga FC's Nestor Tesone to fire away a dangerous shot which Dan Wennerqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Froněk in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Adrián Czornomaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alto Moco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Lano in the 11th minute of play. Alto Moco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Lano in the 17th minute of the match. Müslüm Baba struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Alto Moco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soroca F.C.. Alzaga FC's Alto Moco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Lano in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Nestor Tesone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dan Wennerqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Hernan Lano notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Alzaga FC's Alto Moco. Alto Moco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Adrián Espadas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Wennerqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Tesone in the 35th minute. Nestor Tesone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Alzaga FC's Fortunato Froněk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dan Wennerqvist. Dan Wennerqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Alzaga FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Tartalo took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Tesone to strike the kick off in the second half. Alto Moco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alto Moco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrián Espadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alzaga FC made a substitution. Jose Murillo replaced Nestor Tesone. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Zézinho Neiva replaced Müslüm Baba. Alzaga FC's Mané Garrincha was substituted for Fortunato Froněk. Zézinho Neiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Alto Moco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Garrincha, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 81st minute, Mané Garrincha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Wennerqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Garrincha in the 87th minute of play. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Alzaga FC's Jose Murillo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soroca F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Necula in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alto Moco saved Alzaga FC from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alzaga FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Soroca F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
