After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Mustafa Ali Cansoy got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Petrică Măcriș managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters rose to their feet, but Petrică Măcriș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Cutberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Will Budden during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Will Budden hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Elpidio Francis took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Cutberto. Donato Cutberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Petrică Măcriș managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters rose to their feet, but Petrică Măcriș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Cutberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Arnaldo Gabon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25thth minute of the game Elpidio Francis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 26 de junio's Donato Cutberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elpidio Francis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Donato Cutberto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 37th minute, Elpidio Francis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Cutberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 41 played minutes 26 de junio got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Paul. Donato Cutberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Francis's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Francis to make the kick off. In the 57th match minute, 26 de junio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Paul to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Paul hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Donato Cutberto went to the wrong direction when Mustafa Ali Cansoy was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Aquilino Odilon kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Esteban Iztal might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Iztal ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Gavino Lobo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski. Branislav Velchevski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 de junio's Donato Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Monclús in the 73rd minute of play. Donato Cutberto came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús. But to his dismay, André Monclús quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After having played for 81 minutes, André Monclús managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Monclús was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 de junio's Donato Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Monclús in the 84th minute of play. Will Budden kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. André Monclús scored 6-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Cutberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mustafa Ali Cansoy's late challenge caught a 26 de junio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustafa Ali Cansoy helped the player get up and apologised.
