Adrian Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Luciano Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imperio Académico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tymoteusz Lemiesz in the 15th minute. Tymoteusz Lemiesz made a great header on Imperio Académico's corner, it was just that Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. Adrián Espadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Clis having to interfere. Adrian Clis came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas. But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luciano Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Vidal in the 32nd minute of play. Luciano Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Wennerqvist having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Venceslao during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Amador Venceslao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Zézinho Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soroca F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Clis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrián Espadas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Adrián Espadas came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Soroca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Espadas couldn't finish the play. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Wennerqvist having to interfere. Adrian Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Imperio Académico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Atarrabi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Clis was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Imperio Académico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amador Venceslao took the corner.
