Maurino Serena made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Alfonso Goicoechea sent off a good shot on target. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belo Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Bacete in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Manolo Bacete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal and Manolo Bacete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manolo Bacete's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Bacete in the 18th minute of play. Anselmo Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belo Alvarez in the 21st minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Goicoechea let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 23rd minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Manolo Bacete took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Manolo Bacete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The throw-in from Hermengildo Erroman in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.D. Alcorcón's Natxo Cacheres. A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Chiriac came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Mugur Chiriac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolo Bacete in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
