In the 13thth minute of the game Erwin Levet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Abdul Oresanya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tzolo Pisarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Choice Bolodeoku in the 15th minute of play. Tzolo Pisarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ejike Ummalah, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 17th minute, Ejike Ummalah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Niguel Pasten charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niguel Pasten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abdul Oresanya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erwin Levet went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Abdul Oresanya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hu Jian Yi's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Tzolo Pisarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ejike Ummalah in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Astralis FC booed when LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Furo Ndudi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Astralis FC's zone, Ejike Ummalah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tzolo Pisarski came out of the goal and Ejike Ummalah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Abdul Oresanya managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Astralis FC's Erwin Levet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 43rdth minute of the game Hu Jian Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Abdul Oresanya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Ejike Ummalah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ejike Ummalah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Choice Bolodeoku to strike the kick off in the second half. Calixto Simaverti kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Afolabi Onoja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzolo Pisarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Munster hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Furo Ndudi got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, one of LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute Gregorio Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Oresanya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdul Oresanya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hu Jian Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Tzolo Pisarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Choice Bolodeoku in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 got a corner. Astralis FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afolabi Onoja ran over to the corner to take the kick. 72 minutes into the match, LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's goal looked a bit too open when Hu Jian Yi came free, but Abdul Oresanya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Hu Jian Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Abdul Oresanya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Afolabi Onoja got a free kick in the 74th minute. Leonel Zammit's late challenge caught a LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Zammit helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Astralis FC's Leonel Zammit got a free kick in the 77th minute. Astralis FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Afolabi Onoja was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Afolabi Onoja kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Elija's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdul Oresanya was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Hu Jian Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Oresanya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdul Oresanya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hu Jian Yi in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match, Choice Bolodeoku tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tzolo Pisarski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
