Pindorama Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Klas Billström. When Lionel-Andrés Messi fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Pindorama Eagles's protests and gave Lionel-Andrés Messi a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Lionel-Andrés Messi. The supporters of S.E. Pindorama Eagles booed when Berserkers FC Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Garoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vassilis Nentakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan-Ramón Verón in the 34th minute. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Pindorama Eagles from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan-Ramón Verón was the one to do the kick off.
