Oriche Vega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Kristoffers, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Gennadiy Demyanenko fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bjorn Panter, passed just outside the right post. In the 14th minute Jonathan Kristoffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oriche Vega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shao Yu Qiang to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match, Arkadiy Dorenskiy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bjorn Panter saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Oriche Vega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaus Bas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Krasnodar FC's Leonid Malafeev to fire away a dangerous shot which Bjorn Panter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Krasnodar FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Andrey Aganin hit a great ball. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Bjorn Panter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Malafeev in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ger Mols in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oriche Vega saved Krasnodar FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martien Krommert during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roman Serdyuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gennadiy Demyanenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Serdyuk in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bjorn Panter saved The Dalwhinnie Boys from getting behind. The Krasnodar FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Krasnodar FC's Roman Serdyuk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 61 minutes into the game, Krasnodar FC's Gennadiy Demyanenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bjorn Panter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dmitriy Makarov charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
