An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazil Canay in the 5th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Felice might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustacio Misael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Felice ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Natalio Guter notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Guns And Roses's Eustacio Misael. Eustacio Misael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agustin Txatxu came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emilio Shepherd could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nazil Canay got free with Emilio Shepherd in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Mariusz Kaleta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Txatxu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save KN ZGORZELEC from getting a goal against them. Natalio Guter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Misael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Natalio Guter made the kick off in the second half. Natalio Guter struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Eustacio Misael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KN ZGORZELEC. Natalio Guter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eustacio Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazil Canay in the 60th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes KN ZGORZELEC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Felice. Emiliano Felice blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eustacio Misael having to make a save. Segundo Bordat hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Lukas Podolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Podolski in the 73rd minute of play. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Podolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Guter might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustacio Misael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Eustacio Misael successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Natalio Guter scored 0-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustacio Misael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lukas Podolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Podolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes of play, Guns And Roses's Lukas Podolski made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Shepherd was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by KN ZGORZELEC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Segundo Bordat was slow to take the kick. During this time Guns And Roses's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Segundo Bordat got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emilio Shepherd quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Lukas Podolski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Shepherd was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KN ZGORZELEC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
