Emiliano Berdaitz scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Zdanowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute Carel Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Zdanowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Aragones in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carel Rokeloos got free with Stefan Zdanowicz in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, György Pócsi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Mambru was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Melquiades Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Pócsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The attack was good, but when György Pócsi in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Melquiades Mambru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carel Rokeloos made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Berdaitz in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Zdanowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melquiades Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Aragones in the 53rd minute of play. Melquiades Mambru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ambrosio Aragones showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 57 minute of play.
