Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uğur Erkovich in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Osvaldo Llorienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım Okanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dong Cheng Si's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Carlomagno was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Kasım Okanalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ from getting a goal against them. A well-hit corner resulted in Mo Yi Sang heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 21 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Dong Cheng Si came free, but Matias Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dong Cheng Si in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Carlomagno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ were awarded a corner. Bill Nietlispach went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bill Nietlispach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matias Carlomagno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When San Lorenzo's Kara Melo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute, Gigi Penaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Lorenzo's Gigi Penaru managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nuri Çırakoğlu in the 36 minute of the game. After 40 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Mo Yi Sang. After 44 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Mo Yi Sang. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mo Yi Sang to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Mo Yi Sang. It was Gigi Penaru who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to San Lorenzo's Jan Wallman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dong Cheng Si in the 64th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorinel Munteanu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Kasım Okanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Penaru in the 67th minute of play. If Mo Yi Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute of the game Severo Santos made a throw-in which Osvaldo Llorienzo played forward. In the 77th minute Mo Yi Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım Okanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill Nietlispach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Martin Lleir fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo's protests and gave Martin Lleir a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Lleir didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dong Cheng Si in the 91st minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Uğur Erkovich in ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ was the one to initiate the kick off. Uğur Erkovich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 116th minute. Matias Carlomagno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Mo Yi Sang took the kick off. 134 minutes into the match, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Yi Sang came free, but Kasım Okanalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 120 minutes played and the teams were still tied %results%. It was now down to the keepers and penalty takers to win this one for their team.

When the match had been going on for 137 minutes, San Lorenzo's Mo Yi Sang got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kasım Okanalp. In the 138th minute there was a penalty for ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ. Dong Cheng Si stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Matias Carlomagno. 1-1. When the match had been going on for 139 minutes, San Lorenzo's Doni Arce got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kasım Okanalp. San Lorenzo:s Kasım Okanalp showed great skill when he stopped Nuri Çırakoğlu:s penalty. The goalkeeper, Matias Carlomagno, was totally fooled by ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Herbert Pazura, who 144 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kasım Okanalp had in the 145thth minute some difficulties stopping Gigi Penaru's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the match had been going on for 148 minutes, San Lorenzo's Victor Otsando got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kasım Okanalp.
